General Patton Joins West Point Academy's Bicentennial Celebration
One of the most complicated military men of all time, General
George S. Patton, Jr. continually
demanded that his troops perform their duties at the highest
standard of excellence. Patton, a 1909 West Point graduate,
is remembered for his fierce determination and ability to
lead soldiers, and is irrefutably regarded as one of the most
successful United States field commanders of any war.
Soon, this famous general will be featured in a television special entitled "West Point Moments." The show will air on CBS and celebrates West Point Academy's Bicentennial. In addition, Patton's image will be shown in a 25-second advertisement for the program. Three photographs of Patton are featured alongside the images of 96 other individuals also highlighted in the special.
