Clocks, Beanie Bears, Die-cast Models Among Muppet Merchandise

Elliott, Mayfield and Atwood beanie bears

In celebration of the 25-year anniversary of the creation of Jim Henson's Muppets, the cars of Evernham Motorsports' drivers Bill Elliott, Jeremy Mayfield and Casey Atwood will feature Muppet-themed paint schemes. These amusing paint schemes were unveiled on April 25, in anticipation for the Tropicana 400 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on July 14. Elliott's No. 9 Dodge Intrepid RT has been decorated with the Swedish Chef, Mayfield's No. 19 is decorated with Honeydew and Beaker, and Atwood's No. 7 features Rowlf the dog.

Manufacturers Team Beans, Jebco Clocks and Action Performance are among the licensees producing collectibles in conjunction with the celebration. Their products have joined the drivers' image or car No. with the featured Muppet characters, and include popular selling items such as beanie bears, clocks, bobble head dolls and die cast racecars. These items will be available for purchase at various mass retail chains, trackside at several races, on television through QVC, and worldwide through the manufacturers' Web sites.
