Bill Elliott's No. 9 in New NASCAR Chocolates Collection
NASCAR legend Bill
Elliott continues to
race competitively, even after 27 years behind the wheel.
Elliott established himself when he became the first driver
to win The Winston Million, a $1 million bonus from R. J.
Reynolds for winning three of four major superspeedway races
in a single season. Thereafter, he was dubbed "Awesome Bill
from Dawsonville" and "Million Dollar Bill."
Recently, Elliott has been utilized by the R.M. Palmer
Company in a new line of foil-covered chocolate NASCAR
products. R.M. Palmer is offering hollow chocolate No. 9 cars,
frosty mugs, miniature No. 9 chocolate cars and bags of Bill
Elliott chocolate. Elliott's car and picture are also included
in the advertisements and packaging design for these products.
R.M. Palmer launched the line of chocolates in April, and
will continue selling them throughout 2002. They were distributed
to mass retail chains, including K-Mart and Wal-Mart, and
are available for purchase worldwide at www.rmpalmer.com.
