Stunning Craftsmanship Yields James Dean
Spyder Motorbike
Though many have tried to capture
his essence, James
Dean had an aura about
him that is impossible to duplicate. In just over a year, and
in only three films, Dean became a widely admired screen personality.
Kind but brooding, sensitive yet with a seemingly impermeable
skin, he could captivate audiences without uttering a word.
CMG Worldwide and Memoir
Motorbikes, LLC are proud to
announce the creation of a limited edition motorbike dedicated
to James Dean's legacy. Hand painted in silver and trimmed with
red, the Dean Spyder Motorbike is truly a work of art. The tank
is decorated with a spider web and features a nostalgic caricature
of Dean in the middle. For this project the artists chose to
work with Imron, a paint that is difficult to use, but stunning
to behold. Extreme quality demands restrict production of the
Spyder motorbike, thus securing it as a highly desired collectible
for the cost of $6,000 USD.
Memoir's founder, Rob Probelski, established the company to
"recreate the fashion and flavor" of vehicles once driven by
famous personalities. Dean is the first icon Probelski has honored
with such a line. The motorbikes are produced in Rockford, Minnesota,
by a team that includes a bicycle restorer, design engineer
