Oklahoma), and grew up working with cattle on our family's ranch.
Later in life, I became a radio announcer, Broadway actor and
film star. I went on to write than 4,000 syndicated columns
in my lifetime. I was also named the first and only honorary
mayor of Beverly Hills in 1925.
