Marilyn Monroe illuminated in exquisite display piece
Marilyn Monroe’s effervescent, luminescent personality and shining beauty graced the silver screen nearly five decades ago, stealing the hearts of all who beheld her. screens: the Limited Edition Marilyn Monroe Lamp. This unique product is based
on the photograph “Marilyn Monroe in White” by Milton H. Greene. The 1955 photograph, taken just before she attended the cocktail party where the formation of Marilyn Monroe Productions was announced, shows Marilyn wrapped in a luxurious white fur coat, gazing directly at the camera. The engraved photograph is mounted in a wooden frame that is backlit by a small light bulb, which creates the illusion that a photograph lies behind the engraving.
