Humphrey Bogart promotes German National Bank

Humphrey Bogart No matter what his role required of him, Humphrey Bogart delivered some of Hollywood’s best performances with a finesse and style all his own. From characters such as the suave detective Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon to rough-and-tumble Charlie Allnut in The African Queen, Bogart’s versatile and engaging performances impressed audiences and critics alike, making him one of the most beloved actors of all time.

In 1942, Bogart starred in one of the greatest films in the history of cinema,
Casablanca. The film became an instant classic, and fans worldwide continue to fall in love with the rugged Rick Blaine and the beautiful Ilsa Lund, played by Ingrid Bergman. This summer, Germany’s National Bank AG will use a 40 second clip of Bogart’s performance in Casablanca for a promotional cinema campaign. Beginning in May, the Casablanca spot will be shown in one movie theater in Essen, Germany 150 times over the next several months. For more information, visit the National Bank AG’s Web site at www.national-bank.de.
