Thomasville Furniture Unveils
the Bogart Collection
Humphrey
Bogart believed that true
class could not be imitated or taught. He saw it as an innate
aspect of oneself - a quality a person either did or didn't
possess. That said, there was no question that Bogart himself
had true class. In fact, if the word didn't already exist, one
might say it was created to describe him.
With this in mind, Thomasville
Furniture Industries has chosen
Humphrey Bogart for a stylish new collection of home furniture
and accessories. "The furniture, like Bogart, is inherently
classic," the company's Web site avows. "From the supple leather
and the intricate burls to the clean, architectural lines, every
detail is effortlessly elegant."
As
a further testament to his timeless influence, the line made
its debut to rave reviews at the 2002 International Home Furnishings
Market in High Point, North Carolina. The Bogart collection
consists of more than 100 pieces, including the Trench Coat
Chair, Santana Sofa, Contessa Banquette, El Morocco Bar and
Hancock Park Poster Bed.
Thomasville has already marketed several successful personality-inspired
lines, including those dedicated to rock 'n' roll king Elvis
Presley and American novelist Ernest Hemingway. For more information
