CMG welcomes the First Lady of Country Music

CMG Worldwide is pleased to announce the signing of its newest client, Tammy Wynette. Fondly remembered as the First Lady of Country Music, she captured the hearts of country fans worldwide with her distinctive voice and heartfelt lyrics.

Tammy won two Grammy Awards, one for “I Don’t Wanna Play House” in 1967, and one for her most famous hit, “Stand By Your Man” in 1969. She was also named the Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year for three consecutive years in 1968-1970.

During a career spanning over 25 years, Tammy collaborated with many famous artists, including her also famous husband George Jones, as well as Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn on Honky Tonk Angels.

After her death in 1998, Tammy Wynette was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Today, she remains one of the most beloved and recognized country artists of all time.
