These pistols come ready to display in a lined case with a solid brass plaque denoting their number in the limited edition run of 500. The piece itself is a classic Colt Government Model .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol. Skilled craftsmen commissioned for just this purpose have decorated the exterior, and their designs have been reviewed and approved by the family of General Patton. This artwork includes two classic portraits of General Patton, a tank (signifying his support of tanks in battle), a scene from the Battle of the Bulge showing tanks and troops moving toward Bastogne, and the stars of the Lieutenant General and General ranks.

Mirror-polished 24-karat gold was used for the slide, slide stop, grip screws, hammer, safety lock and magazine catch. Specially crafted faux ivory grips are adorned with the distinctive GSP monogram seen on General Patton’s favorite pistols. The pistol also features several of General Patton’s famous quotes, including: “An army is a team. It eats, sleeps and fights as a team.”
