National Baseball Hall of Famers bat for Big League Brew
It was inning five of game three of the 1932 World Series, and Babe Ruth was
up to bat. Chicago Cubs fans heckled the formidable Yankee slugger, who had two
strikes against him.
In what was to be one of the defining moments of the golden age of baseball,
Babe pointed to the bleachers above center field, seeming to call the shot that
he would send sailing to just that spot seconds later. That moment symbolized
the career of the most phenomenal batter the sport has ever seen.
Over 70 years later, the legendary Babe Ruth remains an icon of the golden age
of baseball, as well as one of the most beloved baseball players of all time.
For these and many other reasons, Helmar
Brewing Company has
chosen the Babe to help market their "Big League Brew." Big League
Brew is a part of Helmar’s "The Flavor of the Game"™ popular themed
products.
In addition to utilizing Ruth, Helmar is also tapping the resources of fellow
National Baseball Hall of Famers and CMG Worldwide clients, including Honus
Wagner,
Christy Mathewson, Jimmie
Foxx, Lefty Grove and
Mordecai Brown. These baseball indellibles will
be featured on both product packaging
of Big League Brew, and
various advertising media to promote the new recipe beer. Fans and beer connoisseurs
alike can find Big League Brew in stores beginning in September. The manufacturers
retail price for a four pack of bottles is $6 USD.
