Vince Lombardi Trophy awarded to Super Bowl XXXVIII champs
On Sunday, February 1, the New England Patriots squared-off
against the Carolina Panthers and captured the 38th annual
Super Bowl championship. The Patriots were presented with the
2003 season’s Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy at a ceremony immediately following the game.

Amelia Earhart bronze statue restored
In 1970 a statue of Amelia Earhart was put on display as a tribute to her courage, triumphs and struggle as a female pilot. The statue remained in her hometown of North Hollywood for 30 years but was recently removed in an effort to reconstruct the decaying structure.
