Nostalgic adventure follows in Josephine Baker’s footsteps
Josephine Baker sashayed onto a Paris stage during the 1920s with a comic, yet sensual appeal that took Europe by storm. Famous for barely-there dresses and no-holds-barred dance routines, her exotic beauty generated the nicknames Black Venus, Black Pearl and Creole Goddess. She maintained energetic performances and a celebrity status for 50 years until her death in 1975.
Currently, the Eurobound travel company is offering
Josephine Baker admirers the exciting opportunity to follow in her footsteps.
Eurobound will treat travelers to a rare glimpse of Josephine’s life in her beloved France. This excursion will journey to the legendary Latin Quarter, Montmartre, the Seine River and Bordeaux, as well as include a private visit to Jospephine’s home, the Chateau des Milandes.
This nostalgic adventure, called “On the Footsteps of Josephine Baker,” will begin on March 20, 2004 and conclude on March 27, 2004. The trip costs $1,995/person USD based on double occupancy, and full payment is due by January 16, 2004. For more information or to book a trip, please visit Eurobound.com.
