Humphrey Bogart’s legendary look makes a classic accessory

Bogart delivered some of Hollywood’s best performances with a finesse and style all his own. From characters such as the suave detective Sam Spade in The
Maltese Falcon to rough-and-tumble
Charlie Allnut in The African Queen,
Bogart’s versatile and engaging performances impressed audiences and critics alike. He was named the Greatest Male Star of All Time by the American Film Institute in 1999, serving as further proof that Humphrey Bogart will remain a well-known and respected name for decades to come.
It is for these reasons that Studio Imports has
chosen to feature Bogart on a line of nostalgic purses. They
chose a black and
white image of Bogart, wearing a dark suit and shown leaning
back with a cigar in his hand. This classic image has been
imprinted on two different types of handbags, a traditionally-styled
one and a purse enhanced with eye-catching neon piping. These
products became available to consumers in early 2004, and retail
for between $50-$60 USD. They are available at specialty stores
and boutiques, as well as some major department stores.
Other famous personalities that Studio Imports has successfully
marketed on similar fashion accessory products include Marilyn
Monroe, Bette Davis, Ella
Fitzgerald, Jean Harlow and Bettie
Page.
