Mickey Rooney awarded a fourth star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Mickey Rooney Mickey Rooney and his wife, Jan Chamberlin, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 26, 2004. The couple is currently touring the United States with their act, “The One Man, One Wife Show.” A schedule of their performances can be found on MickeyRooney.com. The show can also be purchased on CD through the Web site for $19.95.

This is Mickey Rooney’s fourth star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His very first star is located at 1718 Vine Street, near-by James Dean’s star (located at 1719 Vine Street), and not far from Lauren Bacall’s (at 1724 Vine Street).

The Hollywood Walk of Fame was created in 1958. It is a connected sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street that has been embedded with over 2,000 five-pointed stars featuring the names of celebrities.
