CMG Worldwide to represent the Vatican Library
Since Pope Nicholas established the Vatican Library in 1451, only clergy and
scholars have been able to see the vast array of treasures that span 2000 years
of art and culture. Now, through an arrangement with the exclusive Vatican Library
licensees, CMG Worldwide offers the private collection of works of the world's
oldest existing library for license in a variety of product categories, including
apparel, publishing, hard goods, and social expressions.
The Vatican Library holds:
- Over 1,600,000 written works, including manuscripts and books
- Priceless original works by Michelangelo, Botticelli and Bernini
- Illustrations of extinct birds, animals, flowers, plants, insects, medicine,
anatomy and mineralogy
- Nearly 300,000 ancient coins
- Ancient timepieces, scientific instruments, globes, maps
- Over 100,000 prints, engravings, etchings, and sculptures
A portion of every license goes directly
to the Vatican Library to help modernize and protect this rich
cultural resource. For licensing opportunities, please contact
