Peter Sellers to be featured in upcoming ornament by American Greetings

Peter Sellers is perhaps best known for his role as hilarious French Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Soon the dynamic character Sellers portrayed in in five “Pink Panther” films will be featured in a sculpted ornament made by American Greeting Cards.

The ornament which will be in the shape of a television set will depict various images of Peter Sellers in his most celebrated role. It will also include a sound clip from the film, “The Pink Panther,” released in 1963. This special ornament will be available for purchase in early 2006 and come with a retail value of $30 with sound. It measures three inches wide and five inches tall.

Peter Sellers, an accomplished British comedian actor, starred in over 60 films throughout his career, but is best remembered as the awkward Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Sellers’ debut performance as Clouseau in 1963 was so popular among fans, he reprised his role four more times in other Pink Panther films such as, “A Shot in the Dark,” The Return of the Pink Panther,” “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” and “Revenge of the Pink Panther.”
