The famous Brazilian clothing brand Salinas, based out of Rio de Janeiro, recently premiered its Spring/Summer 2006 beachwear collection, featuring garments bearing the image of the incomparable Carmen Miranda. Inspired by Carmen’s
colored bows and beautiful accessories, the new collection debuted on June 15
at a fashion show at Fashion Rio. The Salinas show was undeniably the highlight
of the evening and received many compliments from national and international
